Man Utd stars ridiculed by rivals in foul-mouthed tirade inside away dressing room

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is unsure whether he will be Man Utd boss next week

The full extent of Manchester United‘s fall under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been highlighted by the club being mocked by a Premier League rival.

Solskjaer was fired as Red Devils boss on Sunday as the misery ended in a 4-1 humiliating defeat to Watford at Old Trafford.

United are eighth in the Premier League after three straight defeats and Michael Carrick has taken charge until an interim manager is appointed.

Many thought Solskjaer should have been sacked after the embarrassing defeats to Liverpool and Manchester City.

But it has been revealed that even before the two derby disasters, Solskjaer’s United side became ridiculed from an opposition team and the wheels were already falling off.

United drew 1-1 at home to Everton last month as frustrations began to set in due to below-par performances.

But it was the Toffees who were most disappointed after a point at Old Trafford.

According to the Times, one Everton player embarked on a expletive-filled rant after failing to secure an away win.

“I don’t know how we didn’t win that today. They [United] were f*g s**t,” the unnamed player said.

United eventually won just four points from a possible 21 in the league which spelled the end for Solskajer’s time in the Old Trafford hot seat.

The Red Devils have Carrick at the helm for the Champions League fixture against Villarreal on Tuesday and then travel to face European champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this weekend.

It remains unclear who the club will target as interim boss until the end of the season.

But PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino, Ajax boss Erik ten Hag and Leicester City’s Brendan Rodgers have all been linked with the permanent role.
