Not long after finishing the NBA season, names that teams could be releasing have already started to appear.
At the top of the list is Chris Paul, who’s been shown plenty of interest from the LA Lakers. At 36-years-old, this could be his last opportunity to win an NBA title before his inevitable retirement.
The information published by The Undefeated also includes news on current Lakers players and their possible futures with their team.
With LeBron James and Anthony Davis both picking up injuries last season, the Lakers bench started to show its lack of depth, hence the clubs interest in Paul, who has already received Magic Johnson‘s approval, as he took to Twitter.
“A big three with LeBron, Chris, and AD will equal a NBA championship!”
Paul was close to signing with the Lakers before, but the deal ended up being vetoed by the NBA. The choice will be up to the point guard as to whether he wants to stay in Phoenix or move to the west coast side.
