Manny Pacquiao has spoken out against anti-Asian racism and discrimination with a wave of crimes taking place in the USA.
The 12-time world champion challenged those engaging in violent acts of racism to take him on instead of their victims.
“Stop attacking Asians who can’t defend themselves,” Pacquiao said on social media on Thursday. “Fight me instead.
“We have one colour in our Blood! Stop discriminating. LOVE AND PEACE TO EVERYONE!!”
Robert Aaron Long‘s attacks on three Atlanta massage parlours left eight dead, six of whom were Asian women, though the shooter has denied that there was any racial motive in the incident.

Alongside Pacquiao, a host of other sports stars including LeBron James, Chiney Ogwumike, Naomi Osaka, Jeremy Lin, Dwyane Wade and Trae Young, have denounced this wave of hatred.
