Man Utd star Paul Pogba has ‘poor’ relationship with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
The Frenchman continues to recover from an ankle injury with his future up in the air.
United stood firm, keeping the 26-year-old after refusing to sell.
The Italian outlet suggest the midfielder’s relationship with Solskjaer is poor, while he still holds excellent relationships within the Turin dressing room.
Pogba publicly fell out with former boss Jose Mourinho.
But Solskjaer seemed to get the best out of the inconsistent star during his first few months at the club.
But this time the Serie A champions want a younger option as their marquee signing, something which has attracted them to Pogba.
Mino Raiola, the super agent who attempted to force Pogba’s exit in the summer, is highly thought of at Juventus.
But his stock is low at Real Madrid, which will hand the Italian side an advantage in the imminent battle for the World Cup winner’s signature.
The Red Devils want the out of form playmaker to join and play alongside Pogba.
Just last season alone, Eriksen was involved in 20 league goals for Spurs, registering 12 assists and eight goals.
United are believed to be willing to offer around £43m for the 27-year-old and think he would be the perfect partner for Pogba.
However, he has been in disappointing form so far this season, resulting in Eriksen starting just seven of Spurs’ 11 league games.
But Mauricio Pochettino has defended the Dane’s form.
“I don’t think the performance of Christian is any different than when we signed him five-and-a-half years ago,” he said.
