Liverpool fans spot Sadio Mane stopping team-mates celebrating Man Utd equaliser
The Reds salvaged a 1-1 draw to maintain their unbeaten Premier League run.
Marcus Rashford scored for the hosts before Adam Lallana struck in the second half.
Old Trafford was left rueing the missed opportunity to win the match.
Images has emerged, though, of one Liverpool man who in no mood to celebrate after the equaliser – Mane.
In the snaps, the ball has hit the back of the net from Lallana’s tap-in with five minutes to go.
The Reds fans go wild while the Englishman is surrounded by his team-mates.
But Mane, who was denied an equaliser in the first half through VAR, looks furious as he drags the midfielder.
He is pulling Lallana towards the halfway line to get the game started again as soon as possible.
Mane’s team-mates, though, look baffled while the Senegalese forward pulls with all his might.
These images were shared on Twitter yesterday, where the Anfield faithful heaped praise on the 27-year-old.
“He knew the draw was a terrible result,” one supporter said.
Another commented: “He’s a born winner.”
A third claimed the Senegalese forward stood out from his colleagues.
“Only one with elite mentality,” they said.
And a fourth simply added: “My man.”
