Is West Brom v Barnsley on TV? Channel details, injury latest and betting odds

West Bromwich Albion resume their Sky Bet Championship campaign on Tuesday night as they welcome Barnsley to The Hawthorns.

The Baggies go into the game on the back of a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough at the weekend, with those three points seeing Slaven Bilic’s side retain their place at the top of the league table.

Their next opponents earned a point on Saturday as they secured a 1-1 draw at home to Swansea City at Oakwell, but still lie bottom of the table and three points away from safety.

A win for Albion would see them guaranteed to remain at the top of the table going into next weekend’s matches, with Nottingham Forest, Swansea and Leeds United all able to leapfrog the Baggies should results go in their favour.

Ahead of the match, we’ve put together all of the key things that you need to know.

When is the match?

The match is due to be played at The Hawthorns on Tuesday, October 22 with an 8pm kick-off.

Is it on TV?

The match is being broadcast live on Sky Sports’ red button service, with viewers able to chose from all of Tuesday’s Championship matches.

As such, Baggies fans will be able to watch the game live on the red button, but there will also be plenty of reaction right here at Birmingham Live.

Matt Phillips missed his first Championship game of the 2019-20 campaign in Saturday’s win over Middlesbrough due to a shin injury.

Phillips, though, took a knock to his shin in training and wasn’t risked at the Riverside and Bilic says he expects the forward to be fit in time to face Barnsley.

Chris Brunt was on the bench for Saturday’s win at Middlesbrough but is yet to complete his return by featuring on the pitch after suffering a groin injury.

Kenneth Zohore is not expected to be fit after picking up a calf problem earlier in the month, while Kieran Gibbs and Gareth Barry are also not in line to feature at The Hawthorns.
