‘A nuisance’ Form of Blackburn Rovers squad going into Birmingham City test
Birmingham City take on Blackburn Rovers in their next clash in the Sky Bet Championship this Tuesday night.
Kalvin Phillips netted the only goal of the game at Elland Road, with the Blues now in 12th place in the Championship table.
For Blackburn, goals from Lewis Holtby and Bradley Dack saw Tony Mowrbay’s side secure a point against the Terriers at Ewood Park.
Our friends at Lancashire Live were at the game and handed out player ratings to each of the Blackburn players.
Here is what form each member of the Blackburn squad has going into Tuesday night’s match against Birmingham.
Christian Walton 6
Little to do on the whole but will have been disappointed to let the second goal in. Looked like he could’ve tipped it round the post at least.
Ryan Nyambe 7
Such an athlete. He could bomb up and down the right flank all day long. Helped his side in that respect a great deal – played well.
Tosin Adarabioyo 7
Classy and calm on the ball. Did little wrong against a dangerous centre forward, big boots to fill in Lenihan.
Derrick Williams 8
With Lenihan and Cunningham out Rovers needed a leader in defence and he did well.

Elliott Bennett 6.5
After a tough first 15 minutes he settled and managed Diakhaby much better. Gave away a questionable penalty but will be frustrated with himself regardless.
Lewis Travis 7
Energy and life in the middle of the park. Growing in confidence too, often tries to carry the ball forward now where possible.
Bradley Johnson 8
Played a crucial part in the first goal. His passing was impressive and broke play up too.
Lewis Holtby 7
Encouraging display in his first start for the club. A goal and a assist, Mowbray will take that.
Bradley Dack 8
Scored a goal of real quality to give Rovers the lead. Link-up play good and a nuisance for the Huddersfield defence.
Stewart Downing 7
Didn’t get on the ball and dictate as frequently as usual but his quality from wide areas is superb. Always patient and often picks the right pass.
Adam Armstrong 7
His pace in behind was an outlet for Rovers and he should’ve done enough to keep his place.
