Massimiliano Allegri wants Patrice Evra in Man Utd backroom staff team

Massmiliano Allegri is keen on bringing Patrice Evra to Manchester United if he gets the job, according to reports.

The Red Devils are going through a horror season as they sit two points above the relegation zone.

Before the international break, Newcastle had downed them in an embarrassing 1-0 defeat for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men.

It has placed the Norwegian in perilous trouble and there are reports that he is even fearing for his job.

Patrice Evra is a legend at Manchester United

One man that is keen on taking over the hotseat at Old Trafford is former Juventus boss Allegri, who left the Old Lady in the summer.

The Italian has been learning English as he eyes his next job in the Premier League.

And United are one job he would love to take on, and he already has plans in his backroom staff.

According to the Daily Mail , Allegri wants former Red Devils star Evra to join him at the Theatre of Dreams.

The Frenchman has a brilliant rapport with the United fans, who would help bridge the gap between the manager and the supporters.

Manchester United fans would love to see Patrice Evra back at the club

Evra spent eight years at the club – winning five Premier League titles as well as the Champions League.

And the ex-France full-back also knows Allegri well, having worked under him at Juventus – winning two Serie A medals.

The two would suit one another in the Premier League, in a country Evra knows well combined with Allegri’s tactical nous.

The United legend has hinted that he could be ready to take on some sort of role at the club after a recent Instagram post.

He captioned a photo of him kissing the club badge saying: “I think it’s time to get our hands dirty! @manchesterunited board, are you ready to let us help you guys…”

And another social media post saw him watching the Tottenham loss to Bayern Munich with Allegri, furthering rumours that the two are ready to work together.
