Massimiliano Allegri wants Patrice Evra in Man Utd backroom staff team
Massmiliano Allegri is keen on bringing Patrice Evra to Manchester United if he gets the job, according to reports.
Before the international break, Newcastle had downed them in an embarrassing 1-0 defeat for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men.
It has placed the Norwegian in perilous trouble and there are reports that he is even fearing for his job.
The Italian has been learning English as he eyes his next job in the Premier League.
And United are one job he would love to take on, and he already has plans in his backroom staff.
The Frenchman has a brilliant rapport with the United fans, who would help bridge the gap between the manager and the supporters.
Evra spent eight years at the club – winning five Premier League titles as well as the Champions League.
And the ex-France full-back also knows Allegri well, having worked under him at Juventus – winning two Serie A medals.
The two would suit one another in the Premier League, in a country Evra knows well combined with Allegri’s tactical nous.
The United legend has hinted that he could be ready to take on some sort of role at the club after a recent Instagram post.
He captioned a photo of him kissing the club badge saying: “I think it’s time to get our hands dirty! @manchesterunited board, are you ready to let us help you guys…”
