Man Utd or Liverpool must make transfer raid for x-factor England ace Jadon Sancho
Jadon Sancho continues to prove his worth for both club and country.
The England international netted his first Three Lions goal against Kosovo earlier this season and is already threatening to dislodge Marcus Rashford and other more experienced players in Gareth Southgate’s side next summer.
Sancho is undoubtedly one of, if not the most exciting teenager in the footballing world.
At 19, the winger has already shown the maturity to leave Manchester City and flourish in a completely different league and culture.
Sancho is now one of the first names on the team sheet at Dortmund.
But with an England return surely a certainty, it’s now up to Manchester United or Liverpool to pounce.
And the arrival of Sancho would show the club can still compete with the best in the world.
Despite their status in the footballing ranks dropping by the week, United proved they can still attract world-class players when they signed Harry Maguire in the summer for £80m.
United chiefs have made some horrible decisions in the Old Trafford boardroom in recent years.
But the top brass can redeem themselves by ensuring Sancho is the man they swoop for next summer.
On the pitch, the teenager’s arrival would also greatly help the team.
Forget signing an ageing, injury-prone Gareth Bale – and focus on continuing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s push for young, exciting talent.
Sancho down one flank, Daniel James down the other and Marcus Rashford or a new striking addition up top would be a fearsome front three for United.
However, they will undoubtedly face competition from their English rivals.
Sancho’s ability to play on either flank is vital and the youngster could provide welcomed competition to Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.
While Liverpool’s attacking trio are likely to stay at the club in the coming years, Sancho being just 19 means he would be an option the long-term.
His pace and ability to press and counter would see him fit right in at Anfield, while his goals and assist rate wouldn’t be too shabby either.
Sancho netted 12 times and assisted 17 times in the Bundesliga last year.
Imagine what he could do with Firmino and Mane playing beside him… Man Utd or Liverpool must make transfer raid for x-factor England ace Jadon Sancho
