The Manchester United midfielder collided with Domagoj Vida and was left laid out on the ground.
Medical staff rushed onto the pitch to attend to the former Swansea man who appeared to be in some trouble.
A stretcher was brought onto the field as their was a hush around the stadium with fans clearly concerned for the United winger.
After a short delay James got back to his feet and was helped off the pitch.

“It was an incredibly heavy challenge.
“The medical staff and paramedics were on within seconds but the news is that Dan James is okay and fit to play on.”
Some fans were concerned that James was allowed to continue though and took to Twitter to air their grievances.
One said: “Dan James passed all the HIA protocols he was sparko!!! #walvcro #EuropeanQualifiers”.
Another added: “Surely Dan James shouldn’t still be playing?”
