HOW TO GET TICKETS
Villa are back in the Premier League and have already broken season-ticket sales for 2019/20.
They play their matches at Villa Park, which has been their home for more than 100 years.
Villa will sell 30,000 season tickets for their Premier League return which surpasses the 27,709 sold for the 2008/09 season.
From humble beginnings growing up in Great Barr to Wembley triumph, the Aston Villa gaffer just ‘gets it!’, writes Ashley Preece
We’re in prime Great Barr territory; Aldi over the road, the Scotts, betting shops, Red House Park and Hamstead at the rear.
It’s also home to one Dean Smith, a Dartmouth High School lad-turned superstar hero after leading his Aston Villa back to the big time.
For Dean’s a legend in these parts and none more so than in the Great Barr Conservative Club off the ever-busy Newton Road.
Dean’s uncle Reg is the club’s secretary. He’s a massive Albion fan but couldn’t be prouder of his nephew’s triumphs to date.
The smiles on the faces of lifelong club members Alan and Rod – two staunch Villa supporters – said everything.
The pair sat in the bar. It was a steady Sunday afternoon and creamy pints of Worthies at £2.95 a pop were gliding down a dream.
“Dean’s been popping in for years,” explained punter Alan, a Villa season-ticket holder for 36 consecutive seasons.
The capacity of the stadium is 42,682, meaning roughly 8,000 tickets will be available for home fans on a match day.
Whether you’re a fan who has not been for a while, or a visitor wanting to buy tickets for family or friends, we have all the information you’ll need to book your seat to see Villa in action.
