Chelsea fans excited as Tammy Abraham and Jadon Sancho train together – ‘bring him home’ | Football | Sport
Abraham shared a picture on Instagram of him and Sancho during practice ahead of the Three Lions’ Euro 2020 qualifier against the Czech Republic at the Eden Arena.
The two friends grew up in Camberwell together and their astonishing journeys to stardom led to an international call-up by Gareth Southgate.
Abraham looked back at their evolution with pride and expressed his honour that both of them are now playing for their country.
The Chelsea star posted a picture of him and Sancho posing in front of the camera and wrote: “From South East Ldn to playing for our Country.”
That got a few Blues fans excited on Reddit as they pictured both forwards leading the attack at Stamford Bridge one day.
That is why they urged Abraham to convince Sancho to join Chelsea in the near future.
One fan wrote: “Bring him home to London.”
Another posted: “Come to Chelsea.”
A third stated: “Imagine if we got Sancho next summer.”
And a fourth commented: “Soon to be club teammates.”
The 19-year-old has scored a total of 18 goals and has produced 30 assists in 66 matches for the German club.
Abraham has also been spearheading Frank Lampard’s youth revolution at Chelsea, which has also seen the likes of Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori coming into prominence.
The 22-year-old has netted nine goals in 11 matches so far this season.
The striker is also joint first in the list of top goalscorers in the Premier League this term with City star Sergio Aguero.
