Man Utd fans rage at Solskjaer after Lukaku scores for Belgium again – ‘clueless manager’ | Football | Sport

Manchester United fans are not happy with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for letting Romelu Lukaku leave the club, after he had a stunning first half for Belgium.

Belgium went into half-time 6-0 up against minnows San Marino in their European Championship qualifying encounter in Brussels.

Former United striker Lukaku scored two goals for his country, and assisted an Eden Hazard strike.

Some Manchester United fans have insisted that Lukaku is better than any of their current strikers, and they should never have sold him to Inter Milan.

“I mean, Lukaku is on a brace for Belgium,” tweeted one fan. “His first touch is dreadful, yes, but do you think his problem as United was a s*** midfield and clueless manager?”

Another fan said: “Romelu Lukaku has scored one and set up one for Belgium tonight, his 5th goal in 4 matches(for Belgium). Add that to the few he’s scored for Inter this season.

“But Ole sold his best forward(without a replacement) because he doesn’t fit his style/have the Man United DNA.”

“Give Lukaku proper service, you’ll get goals. Simple!,” added another supporter.

“United made a huge mistake by selling Lukaku #BELSMR,” said one Twitter user.

Lukaku was perfectly happy at United until inferior players were given his minutes by OGS,” tweeted another United fan.

“Any professional worth their salt wouldn’t be happy with that.”

One supporter said: “Lukaku one goal and one assist in 2 mins for Belgium. But somehow he’s deadwood for Manchester United.”

“Three things are certain in life, Death, Manchester United failing to impress & Romelu Lukaku scoring for Belgium,” added another.

Belgium needed 28 minutes before they scored their first goal at home to San Marino, in their Group I clash.

But, the floodgates quickly opened after Lukaku’s opening goal, with Nacer Chadli scoring just three minutes later.

A Cristian Brolli own goal made it three now on 35 minutes, before Lukaku doubled his total six minutes later.

Belgium scored another two goals before the half-time whistle, with the final finish coming from Leicester City’s Youri Tielemans.
