‘You never know’ Midfielder breaks his silence amid Wolves transfer interest
IFK Göteborg midfielder Alhassan Yusuf has addressed claims linking him with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 19-year-old Nigerian is reportedly under observation from Wolves scouts, with some in attendance for the Swedish side’s most recent fixture.

And Yusuf confirmed the interest, saying how flattering it was to be linked with a Premier League club: “It is flattering and I know the interest. The important thing for me is to focus on the next game and make sure to end this season in a good way.
“It is huge for me. It feels very good to be like this when you have played well.
“I feel ready any moment now if something concrete turns up. Then you have to make the best of the situation.
Asked if a January move to Wolverhampton could be on the cards, Yusuf struggled to hide his excitement: “If I get that chance, yes (laughter). It would be a good opportunity. But you never know what happens in the football world.”
