The Liverpool manager is known for his expressiveness on the touchline and that has forged him a reputation.

When asked on BBC’s Football Focus to finish the sentence, “Jurgen Klopp is…”, Oxlade-Chamberlain replied: “Nuts.”

He added: “Jurgen Klopp is what you see on the TV screen. Passionate, funny, charismatic and a good coach.”

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is trying to stake his claim after recovering from injury

The Southampton academy graduate only made two appearances last term after suffering a serious knee injury.

He has since recovered and continues to press his case for a spot in Liverpool’s midfield.

The Reds make a trip to the capital on Sunday to take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Currently, Klopp‘s side have a healthy five point lead and their former player Jamie Carragher reckons they can strike a blow should they beat the Blues.

“With Liverpool having a five-point lead, it is very early and I don’t think it really matters too much,” he said.

“But to go to Chelsea and win, I think that would be a little blow for City. “It is very early and there is months to go but when you see your rival going to a tough game and get three points, they’ll be thinking ‘we’ve still got to go there and do the same’ so it is a big game for both teams obviously.

“But if Liverpool could get three points there, that’s the area they have to improve upon from last season.”

A late Daniel Sturridge wonderstrike cancelled out Eden Hazard‘s solo goal to give Liverpool a share of the spoils in this game last term.
