Coutinho becomes fifth ever player to score in Europe’s top four leagues
Bundesliga Joins Martins, Bojan, Boateng and De Guzman
Phlippe Coutinho scored his first goal for Bayern Munich and became the fifth player in the history to score in LaLiga Santander, the Premier League, Serie A and the Bundesliga.
The Brazilian converted from the spot to net his team’s third goal in their 4-0 victory over FC Koln at the Allianz Arena.
At the age of 27, Coutinho joins Bojan Krkic, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Jonathan de Guzman and Obafemi Martins in the small group of players who have also scored in all four of Europe’s top leagues.
In Italy, he sent the ball into the back of the net three times in 28 games with Inter, before moving to Liverpool where he celebrated 41 goals in 152 games, while throughout his spells at Barcelona and Espanyol he managed 18 in 68.
