Callum Hudson-Odoi contract details emerge as Chelsea sensation extends deal

Chelsea fans are rejoicing across the world as one of their brightest prospects put any speculation about his future to bed by signing a new contract

Callum Hudson-Odoi is yet to feature for the Blues this term due to an Achilles tendon injury.

But as he nears a return to full fitness, he has committed his long-term future to Chelsea, having been strongly linked with a move to Bayern Munch in January.

So how long is his new deal and how much will Hudson-Odoi get paid?

Hudson-Odoi has put pen to paper on a contract that will run until at least 2024.

The Blues academy graduate has been with the club since he was in the U9’s ranks.

And according to the Daily Telegraph , Hudson-Odoi will now earn around £120,000-a-week.

That is a huge pay rise from his previous deal, which was thought to be worth around £22,000-a-week.

After announcing his contract extension, the England international revealed his delight that he was staying with his boyhood club.

“It’s a great feeling for all of us because we know he gives everybody a chance if you’re playing well and working hard.

“He’s already given me confidence, having a chat with me here and there, and it’s great when a manager has faith in you.

“I’m delighted he’s here and I’m looking forward to working more with him.”
