‘One for the future’ Fan favourite tips this Aston Villa star for the top
The rest of the Premier League might not know much about Keinan Davis but Aston Villa players have been aware of the striker’s potential for a long time.
That’s the view of Claret and Blue cult hero Alan Hutton who has trained and played with the attacker ever since he came on to the first team radar.
Davis signed for Villa as a 17-year-old in December 2015 – and just over a year later he made his first team debut in the FA Cup against Tottenham.
He remained a part of Steve Bruce’s first team squad, particularly in 2017/2018 when he made 30 appearances.

He has come off the bench in the Premier League twice this season, scored and dominated in the Carabao Cup win at Crewe – and will be hopeful of featuring against West Ham this evening.
And former team-mate Hutton told Football Insider how much he admires the 21-year-old.
“I’m really impressed by him,” Hutton said.
“I can’t remember exactly what age he was when he signed but he was raw, don’t get me wrong he was raw, but ‘wow’ was he strong, powerful, and he’s grown into that kind of number 9 role.
“He’s went from being a raw player to calming himself down, holding people off, really understanding the position.
“I think he probably needs to go out on loan really to keep playing and earn his stripes if you like and get his game time up but I definitely think one for the future, he’s definitely got it all to be a top striker.”
