‘Absolute tank’ Birmingham City fans react to latest injury revelation

Birmingham City put in plenty of sweat and a little bit of blood to produce tears of joy at Charlton Athletic on Saturday.

Jude Bellingham’s winner might have produced the odd tear of pride, every one of Pep Clotet’s men worked with industry and honesty, while the blood belonged to Danish defender Kristian Pedersen.

Via their official Twitter account Blues revealed the left back required five stitches after sustaining a head wound at The Valley and that he played out the final ten minutes in a bandage.

The accompanied image shows Pedersen and goalkeeper Lee Camp celebrating a job well done – and Bluenoses have applauded their Great Dane.
