Arsenal summer signing Kieran Tierney hailed a bargain in bold Man Utd comparison | Football | Sport
The Scotland international moved to the Emirates from his boyhood club this summer for a fee of £25million.
The versatile defender has bags of experience from his time above the border, which has led Hartson to make a comparison to Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
“Arsenal have a fantastic player on their hands.
“Tierney can play left back, left centre-back and, if Arsenal want to play with a 3, then he provides that option too.
“He has great fitness levels and gets up and down the pitch with ease.
“For £25m Arsenal have a fantastic player on their hands.”
He said last month: “I’m delighted to be here.
“Obviously I’m injured now, but I’m just looking forward to getting back on the pitch, training and getting involved with the squad.
“I’ve been working hard in rehab and I’ve had good people around me as well. It’s been easy for me.
“I had a double hernia operation in the summer.
“I’m just getting back fit now, I’m just getting back involved with a ball and back running.
“So hopefully it’s not going to be too long.”
