Alexandre Lacazette confirms injury rehab as Arsenal fans send endless messages

Alexandre Lacazette may be sidelined until October but Arsenal fans will certainly not forget their star striker in the coming weeks.

Supporters flocked to Laczette’s Twitter page to offer their messages of support after news emerged of his injury.

The Frenchman has been struggling with an ankle problem since pre-season and he will now have a spell on the sidelines.

It comes at a tough time for Arsenal with their season just about to get going as Europa League football begins on Thursday.

Tomorrow sees the Gunners go to Watford in the Premier League, and Unai Emery will be relying on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Nicolas Pepe for significant contributions in attack.

Lacazette, 28, still managed two goals in three appearances at the beginning of the new season.
