Has Tottenham legend Jermaine Jenas let slip a feud with Harry Redknapp?
Tottenham’s former winger Jermaine Jenas was picked on by fans for appearing to take a dig at former boss Harry Redknapp.
The Englishman spent eight seasons with Spurs – but injuries meant he scored only 26 goals in that time.
Jenas was managed in north London by Redknapp for four of those seasons.
But the pair did not get the chance to taste success for Spurs.
And footage has emerged of the former midfielder giving a brief review of his time under the manager.
In the clip, Jenas is appearing on Sky show A League Of Their Own.
He is asked by host Romesh Ranganathan about current manager Mauricio Pochettino.
And the 36-year-old says: “He’s a lovely guy.
“Most managers you come across as a player just shout at you, talk down to you.
“You feel like you can talk to him.”
But he quickly turns to his team captain – Redknapp’s son Jamie – to make his point clear.
“I’m not talking about your dad, by the way,” Jenas adds.
The former Spurs man then laughs nervously while the captain looks down.
And he simply says: “We got on.”
But Rangantahan jumps in saying: “It doesn’t really sound like you did.”
This brings a roar of laughter from the crowd as Jenas tries to explain himself.
Before the 36-year-old can speak, the host asks a brutal question.
“Why do you think Harry Redknapp’s a p****,” Ranganathan asks.
And the crowd burst out laughing again, including Jenas and Redknapp, at the joking allegation.
A League of Their Own is on Sky One and NOW TV on Thursdays at 9pm
