‘Beyond embarrassing’ Chelsea fans fear the worst ahead of Wolves trip
Chelsea supporters are less than confident for their side’s clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday afternnon.
Frank Lampard’s side are coming off the back of a 2-2 home draw with newly promoted Sheffield United – after throwing away a two goal lead.
Wolves meanwhile suffered their only defeat in 10 competitive matches this term, falling 3-2 to Everton at Goodison Park.
With both squads sending a number of players across the globe for international fixtures, both managers will now be focusing on domestic matters and returning to winning ways.
Lampard’s men have conspired to concede nine times in their opening four matches, including four in their last two – but he should be able to recall central defender Antonio Rudiger for the Molineux clash.
We’ve taken a look on social media and fan message boards to get a flavour of how the travelling fans feel about the upcoming game. And it doesn’t make for positive reading!

We’ll be bringing the very latest on Wolves throughout week and around the clock.
Make sure you keep yourself updated with our handy daily catch up…
The Wes: We leak to many goals I can’t see us win this one
Laylabelle: Defeat. Honestly with this and Liverpool be amazed to come out with more then a point
Kellzfresh: Espirito Santo is the manager we should have gotten, but it is what it is. We have to make do with our naive tactics of collapsing every second half to even relegation candidates at home for this season. Let’s hope we somehow scrape a win here..
Pizy: Wolves are the prototype side if you want to play against us effectively. Loads of pacey, athletic players in wide areas, a couple of great long ball midfielders, and a striker who presses constantly and will pounce on mistakes at the back in Jimenez.
Starsky: We attack a lot but are even more open to counters than we were last season so …. this could be a bad defeat – 4-2 to Wolves
The True Blue Blood: Leicester and Sheffield have already outplayed us here at this season. We were lucky not to lose both matches. So far, there’s nothing to suggest that it’ll be any different against Wolves.
Jason: Wolves still with 0 win from 4 games this season. They’re definitely getting their first here…
Fmsch24: Even if we score 2 goals I won’t be celebrating. This team needs at least 4 to be on the safe side. We’re the only top six club with a negative goal difference of 3, it’s beyond embarrassing.
