How much Manchester United’s squad is estimated to be worth
Manchester United rank as only the fifth most valuable club in England according to leading football transfer website Transfermarkt.
The Reds are one of the world’s biggest clubs in terms of generating revenues, but their playing squad is seemingly lacking compared to their rivals.
United spent big in the summer to bring Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bisakka and Daniel James to the club with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continuing his rebuild.
So how much are United’s current crop of stars worth?
United’s most valuable player is World Cup winner Paul Pogba. The Frenchman remains their club record signing although his long-term future remains unclear. Real Madrid are extremely keen to sign the ex-Juventus star while United are determined to hold on to their prized asset.
Behind Pogba in second is homegrown talent Marcus Rashford. Despite being just 21-years-old, the England international is worth £72m.
Both of United’s major summer signings – Maguire and Wan-Bisakka – are valued way below their transfer fee. Maguire is valued at just £45m while Wan-Bissaka is worth only £31.5m.
The lowest valued player in the squad is third-choice goalkeeper Lee Grant, worth just £675k.
