‘The best since Wolves’ Manager heaps praise on this Championship team
Millwall manager Neil Harris has claimed that Fulham are the best side the Championship has seen since Wolverhampton Wanderers’ all conquering team.
Fulham thrashed Millwall 4-0 at Crave Cottage, to record their third straight league win and leave them only one point off the top of the table.
And Harris, who was highly complimentary of Wolves during their stay in the second tier, has once again paid tribute to Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
Back in 2017/18, Wolves earned 99 points on their way to the Championship title and Harris believes Fulham are of a similar quality.
“Firstly, congratulations to Fulham. I thought they were magnificent tonight, certainly the best performance I have seen since Wolves got 100 point a couple of years ago to go up,” he said.
“I think Fulham fans will watch tonight and think what are we doing in this division, we should be in the Premier League. That is down to them.”
Fulham were given a helping hand from a member of that Wolves squad with Ivan Cavaleiro scoring a brace for the Cottagers to continue his hot start to life in West London.
How will Wolves get on in the first leg of their Europa League play-off with Torino?

The Portuguese winger, who has signed on a season long loan deal, added to his stunner on Friday night, by bringing his tally up to three goals.
On the signing of Cavaleiro, Fulham boss Scott Parker said: “That’s credit to the owner, to Tony Khan who identified the mistakes we made last year in terms of recruitment, and ticked boxes this year. We’ve signed players and we know what we’re getting. It doesn’t guarantee you success, but you limit the risk. They’ve fitted in really well.”
