LaLiga: The 50 LaLiga Santander players that still need their futures resolved
LaLiga Two busy weeks to come
The LaLiga Santander summer transfer window has almost two weeks left to run and clubs are trying their hardest to add more to their squads, but also to rid themselves of the players they no longer want.
There are almost 50 players in Spain’s top tier whose futures remain a mystery, not knowing where they’ll be in September.
Each case is different though and they range from James Rodriguez‘s situation in Madrid to youngsters who are awaiting a first elite chance.
Monchi is back at Sevilla and he’s got a busy couple of weeks ahead. He’s brought in more than a dozen players already this summer but now he needs to offload several.
The backline is where they have the most unneeded players, with Sergi Gomez, Simon Kjaer, Joris Gnagnon, Sebastien Corchia and Guilherme Arana all needing to find new homes.
Antonio Luna, Ivan Lopez, Cheick Doukoure, Sanjin Prcic, Fran Manzanara and Armando Sadiku are all in need of a new club as Levante want rid of them.
Alaves, for their part, have five of their own that they need to move on, Valencia have four and Getafe have three.
At the other end of the spectrum are Eibar and Osasuna who are both happy with what they’ve dine already. They’re no longer looking to sell, and they’re only focusing on working with what they have.
Some established players could yet move. James at Madrid, Rafinha and Barcelona and even Atletico Madrid’s Angel Correa and Nikola Kalinic might yet be sold.
There are youngsters or lesser-known players who don’t have it easy. Alex Martin at Leganes needs to find a new club, as does Valencia‘s Jason.
The latter has only arrived from Levante but will fin minutes hard to come by under Marcelino, which could see him loaned to Mallorca, Getafe, Osasuna or Leganes.
