Neymar to Barcelona transfer twist as Juventus table Paulo Dybala swap deal for PSG star | Football | Sport

La Liga rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid are already scrapping it out so sign him before the transfer windows around Europe shut on September 2.

However, AS claim Juve are now also interested in the Brazilian and that they are willing to offer Paulo Dybala to PSG as part of the deal.

PSG have already been heavily linked with Dybala as a potential replacement for Neymar and the Argentina forward appears to be surplus to requirements having almost joined Manchester United or Tottenham earlier in the summer.

He is valued at around £80million meaning Juve would need to find approximately £120m to do a deal with PSG.

The French giants paid a world-record £200million to sign him from Barca in 2017 and are understood to be holding out for at least that amount.

That has left any potential suitors struggling to fund a deal and Barca and Real are also said to be keen on including some players to reduce their initial outlay.

At various stages throughout the summer, the likes of Ivan Rakitic, Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho – who has since joined Bayern Munich – have all been touted as potential players Barcelona could include in negotiations.

It has also been suggested that Barcelona – who have already spent more than £2000m this summer – will try to get around the enormous valuation by taking him back on loan initially and then making the switch permanent next year when they have more cash available.

For Real Madrid, Gareth Bale remains unsettled and was previously linked with a move to France.

However, he looks set to stay after missing out on a money-spinning move to China.

Reports in France suggest PSG will demand both Raphael Varane and Vinicius Junior although boss Zinedine Zidane would be reluctant to let them go.

Whatever happens, Neymar is desperate to leave after two years in France that have been hampered by off-the-field issues and injuries.

While 51 goals in 58 games marks an excellent return, he made just 17 Ligue 1 appearances 1 last season.

The 27-year-old has not played for PSG since the beginning of May.

He currently earns a reported £650,000 per week and his contract in France expires in June 2022.
