Two Man Utd players who could cost club Wolves defeat
The Red Devils looked ferocious on the counter-attack, with Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Daniel James all getting on the scoresheet.
It comes after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer abandoned the old system to get the best out of his youngsters.
The average age of United’s starting XI against the Blues was 24, with a youthful front three including Rashford, Martial and Andreas Pereira.
Veterans such as Nemanja Matic and Ashley Young made way for the more fresh-faced Scott McTominay and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
And though the Red Devils were formidable going forward, there are still question marks about their defence.
Harry Maguire made his debut after making his world-record move to United from Leicester for £80m.
And the England international coped well against the likes of Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and Ross Barkley.
But Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas reckons there are bigger tests to come and has questioned the full-backs – Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw.
He said: “Nuno Espirito Santo has the energy, drive and passion for the crowd, with Manchester United coming off the back of a 4-0 victory, almost a hallucination is the best way to describe that result.
“I thought Harry Maguire was average, he did everything that was asked of him.
“He was efficient and got about the pitch, but I don’t want to hear nonsense about him being a leader and strong on the pitch already, it is too soon.
“He has started well, but I am suspect about the right-back and left-back positions at Man Utd.
