Chelsea fans love what N’Golo Kante did to James Milner in Liverpool Super Cup clash – ‘Pure filth’
Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante left Liverpool ace James Milner blushing in their Super Cup clash with a cheeky nutmeg – and Blues fans couldn’t get enough.
Chelsea and Liverpool are currently battling it out in the annual Super Cup in Istanbul.
The Blues qualified for the competition by winning last season’s Europa League, while Liverpool won the Champions League.
But N’Golo Kante clearly didn’t get the memo that the west Londoners were the underdogs with some sublime skill in the first-half.
Having been harried by Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson on the right flank, Kante turned away from the Scot with relative ease.
He was then greeted immediately by Milner.
But Kante didn’t panic when he saw the 33-year-old steaming towards him, instead cooly knocking the ball through the veteran’s legs.
The incident was clearly caught on camera during the action – and fans went straight into meltdown on Twitter.
One wrote: “N’Golo Kante just did Milner dirty. This nutmeg is pure filth. Proper baller.”
“That Kante’s nutmeg on Milner was cleeeean!!!!!” a second exclaimed.
While a third praised: “Kante is absolutely everywhere for Chelsea! Running the midfield & dishes out a cheeky little nutmeg.”
“Kante just took Milner’s soul with that nutmeg,” a fourth tweeted.
