Confirmed: Wolves boss Nuno has sanctioned this striker transfer
Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Donovan Wilson has completed a move to Spanish third tier side Burgos CF.
Burgos have confirmed the permanent signature of Wilson who spent the entirety of last season out on-loan.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a good spell at Wolves’ former partner club Jumilla last season, where he scored six times in 16 appearances.
He returned to these shores in January and was sent to League Two Exeter City in January, where he played 10 times, failing to register a goal in that time.
Wilson did impress whilst in Spain and that has seemingly done enough to persuade Burgos, who ply their trade in Spain’s Segunda Divsion B – Group 1.
He has been prolific throughout the age groups at Compton and finishes with 22 games from his 53 Premier League 2 appearances.
That however, failed to materialise into consistent football at Molineux and he leaves the club having made only one league appearance during five years.
Burgos have suggested that Wolves ‘disengaged’ Wilson’s contract at the club, meaning he could move to Spain on a free transfer.
