Barcelona: Filipe Luis: I hope Neymar goes to Barcelona, for the good of Brazilian football
Barcelona Spoke about his international teammate
The left-back explained that he’d like to see Neymar return to the Camp Nou as this could help the Brazil national team.
“I want him to end up at Barcelona,” he told the ‘Tiempo de Juego’ programme on Cadena COPE and Radio MARCA.
“I want him to have fun and to be by the side of Lionel Messi.
“But I don’t think that will be easy.”
Asked about another blockbuster transfer saga, the defender said he’d love to see James Rodriguez sign for his former club.
“To have a player like James at Atletico would be very interesting,” he said.
“That wouldn’t be bad at all.
“Whoever comes will be able to help out, but to have James would be spectacular.”
During the interview, Filipe Luis also expressed his gratitude for his years at Atletico.
“I feel fortunate to have played there and to have lived through Atleti‘s best period with the titles that we won,” he said.
“I feel fortunate to have formed part of this group, with people full of ambition and a desire to win.”
