Movement expected in ‘the coming hours’ for West Brom target- reports

West Bromwich Albion are still in contact with Sporting over the loan signing of Matheus Pereira, according to reports in Portugal.

Several conflicting articles have emerged from Portugal in the recent days, but all have suggested that Albion have launched a loan bid for the Brazilian-born winger.

It had been claimed that Baggies’ bid was below the standards that the Portuguese giants were looking for the 23-year-old, who spent last season on-loan with German side FC.Nurnberg.
