Gareth Bale next club odds: How Wolves, Manchester United and Tottenham are priced

Gareth Bale is on the verge of leaving Real Madrid.

The Welshman, who signed the Galacticos in the summer of 2013, has won four Champions League titles, a La Liga title, a Copa del Rey and three Super Cups and Club World Cups during his glittering stay in the Spanish capital.

Having fallen out of favour with manager Zinedine Zidane, however, Bale is all set for the Bernabeu exit in the coming days.

“We hope he leaves soon. It would be best for everyone. We are working on his transfer to a new team,” Zidane revealed.

“I have nothing personal against him, but there comes a time where things are done because they must be done.

“I have to make decisions. We have to change. The exit is the coach’s decision, and also of the player, who knows the situation.

“The situation will change, I do not know if in 24 or 48 hours, but it will – and it’s a good thing for everyone.”

Remarkably – and as far fetched as it may seem – you can get odds on Wolves being Bale’s next club, albeit at a big price.

It’s unclear where exactly the attacker’s destination is; he has admirers in Germany, France, England and China, as well as Italy and the United States.

There is, of course, the possibility that he might remain in Spain.

Wolves, who are yet to strengthen their squad as they prepare for a Europa League qualifying campaign that begins this week, are 40/1 to be Bale’s next club alongside Manchester City.

Bale joint favourite destinations, in the bookies’ eyes, appear to be Bayern Munich or any club in the Chinese Super League, where big salaries are being handed out in order to attract the top talent on the global stage.

Manchester United and former club Tottenham are also in the running, while Ligue 1 champions PSG could have money to spend if they part with Neymar.
