Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Rafa Mir is unlikely to find Real Zaragoza as a realistic destination next term, as the side from Spain’s second tier are struggling to afford the forward’s wages.
Mir, currently representing Spain U21s in the European Championships in Italy, is likely to leave Molineux again this summer, be it on another loan deal or on a permanent basis, and Zaragoza are keen after the attacker’s successful spell at Las Palmas last season.
Mir, who recently celebrated his 22nd birthday, scored seven goals in 30 appearances for Las Palmas as they finished 12th in the Spanish Segunda.
Wolves and Leicester City are set to go head to head for the services of Stephane Bahoken – who has also previously been linked with Aston Villa .
Wolves and the Foxes are both keen on strengthening their forward line in the transfer window; Wolves, especially, are looking out for competition and cover for strike pair Diogo Jota and Raul Jimenez.
Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester have released Shinji Okazaki and are looking to move on expensive flop Islam Slimani in order to make room for attacking reinforcements.
