What’s happening at Blues?

Last season Blues were derailed by their nine-point deduction from the EFL when well placed heading into the final third of the season.

They eventually finished strongly, though 17th place didn’t do justice for the performances Monk’s side produced.

Following the sacking of Monk, Blues’ odds have changed quite dramatically with some bookmakers positing them closer towards those who are expected to be in a relegation battle.

Fulham, Cardiff and Huddersfield have all come down from the Premier League, and Barnsley, Luton and Charlton are entering the division from League One so it looks like it will be a closely-fought division next term.

This is what the bookies (namely Sky Bet) are saying ahead of the 2019-20 season.”/>
