Norwich City stance on Max Aarons after Manchester United transfer speculation
Norwich City will not sell right-back Max Aarons this summer amid reports linking him with a move to Manchester United.
With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer targeting young British players during this transfer window the 19-year-old has been linked with a move to Old Trafford as he fits the profile of player on Solskjaer‘s radar.
However, Press Association report there is little desire to sell the full back as Norwich prepare for their return to the Premier League.
The England Under-19 international had been touted as a possible fall back option should the club fail to land first choice right-back target Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace.
Milton Keynes-born Aarons was named the EFL Young Player of the Season and was included in the Sky Bet Championship Team of the Season and consequently reports have linked him with a move to Old Trafford.
He has made 43 appearances, scoring three goals, since making his Norwich debut against Stevenage in the Carabao Cup at the start of last term.
Solskjaer has already brought in Swansea winger Daniel James this summer as his first signing and is expected to bring in more names before the squad head off on pre-season tour to Australia at the start of July.
