Juventus ‘set to offer Manchester United Douglas Costa in Paul Pogba swap deal’
Juventus are reportedly set to offer Douglas Costa in a player-plus-cash bid for Paul Pogba.
It is claimed by Calciomercato that Juve have informed Costa that he will be sold this summer, despite the player’s wish to remain in Turin.
Meanwhile, United have been handed a boost in their attempts to keep David de Gea after PSG reportedly withdrew their interest in the Spanish goalkeeper.
The Sun say PSG are eyeing AC Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma instead of De Gea, meaning the goalkeeper can no longer use the French club’s interest as a bargaining chip in his bid to force United to improve their contract offer.
De Gea’s deal at United expires next summer.
ESPN say none of the listed clubs have made an offer for the Brazilian yet but PSG are willing to let him leave this summer.
Uefa upheld Neymar’s three-game Champions League ban on Wednesday over his social media outburst after United’s win over PSG in March.
Finally, Paul Pogba is reportedly set to receive a loyalty bonus from United despite publicly saying he wants a new challenge over the weekend.
