Art is not a luxury, but a necessity.

This is when West Brom’s 2019/20 Championship fixtures are out – and when their season starts

West Bromwich Albion will be desperate to go two steps closer next season than they managed last term.

The Baggies kept the promotion show on the road for all but the decisive, heart-breaking penalty shoot-out in the play-off semi finals.

That despite sacking Darren Moore late in the piece – with a permanent replacement yet to be appointed.

For fans, eyes have already turned to the 2019/2020 campaign with the new set of fixtures set to be released on Thursday, June 20 at 9am.

Aston Villa are out of Albion’s hair next season, but there will be another derby with Birmingham City and trips to Fulham, Cardiff, Barnsley, Luton, Huddersfield and Charlton after they all returned to the Championship.

The season starts on the weekend August 2-4, with a live game likely to kick things off on the evening of Friday, August 2. Most teams will play on Saturday, August 3.

The Carabao Cup commences the week beginning Monday, August 2 – West Brom will be in the first round along with other Championship, League One and League Two clubs.
