This is Salomon Rondon’s three-word response to Wolves and Newcastle United transfer talk
“Let them talk”.
That’s how Salomon Rondon responded to the latest reports over his future as Wolverhampton Wanderers rival Newcastle United for his signature.
The striker signed off with a goal in the final match of his loan spell at Newcastle last week against Fulham.
The Magpies want to tie him down to a permanent deal – and Rondon has suggested on more than one occasion that he’d be happy to do just that.

But with Rafa Benitez locked in talks over a new contact amid uncertainty over the manager’s future, Newcastle are yet to make their move for Rondon who has a release clause of £16.5m at West Bromwich Albion.
Now, Wolves are reportedly ready to throw their hat into the ring for the Venezuelan international as they look at adding to their attacking ranks to provide support to Raul Jimenez.
Jimenez, the Mexico forward, has signed from Benfica after a terrific stint on loan at Molineux.
West Ham United have also been linked over the weekend but Rondon doesn’t appear to be paying much attention to the latest speculation, reports ChronicleLive.
Responding to the rumours, Rondon posted a photograph of him working out with an exercise ball above his head with the caption: “Let them talk!!! You stay focus[ed].”
