How West Brom, Birmingham City, Leeds & the rest are predicted to finish in the Championship

West Brom are the second favourites to win next season’s Championship.

Heavily fancied for much of this season, they were beaten in heartbreaking fashion on penalty kicks by Aston Villa.

That ended their play-off campaign and denied them the chance of bouncing back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

With talks of a new manager on the horizon and a strong core still at The Hawthorns, they are predicted to be one of the division’s front runners again.

Fulham are the early favourites to win the Championship. The big spending West Londoners were relegated from the top flight next year but under Scott Parker they are sure to be there or thereabouts.

Birmingham City are 10/1 for promotion. They spent much of last season around the top six and their relatively lowly finishing position was only down to a nine-point-deduction for breaching financial fair play rules.

Under Garry Monk’s stewardship, with more potential for arrivals, they will be hoping for another attack on the upper echelons of the Championship.
