Tottenham Star’s Wage Demands Too High For Serie A Giants
Kieran Trippier’s wage demands continue to be out of whack with the level Napoli could offer the Tottenham Hotspur full-back.
The defender’s future at Tottenham has come under the scanner, with suggestions that the club would not be against selling the England international at the end of the season.
Trippier has his suitors in England and in Europe, and Napoli would be prepared to look at taking the former Burnley man to Italy.
The Serie A giants touched based with Trippier’s representatives just days ago, according to Italian broadcaster Rai Sport.
But Trippier’s wage demands continue to be at a level which would make him an unlikely signing for Napoli.
The defender is due to turn 29 years old in September and Tottenham have him under contract until the summer of 2022.
It remains to be seen if he might rethink his wage demands to tempt Napoli into a summer swoop.
