Why Mitrovic is missing for Fulham vs Manchester City

Fulham vs Man City

Fulham and Manchester City is Saturday’s early kick-off.

With the final international break of the season over, we are now at the business end of the 2018/19 Premier League campaign.

Fulham head into Saturday’s game on a dismal 17 points from 31 games.

Scott Parker’s side are 13 points from safety and are very likely to be relegated in the coming weeks.

Man City, on the other hand, are looking to regain top spot.

Liverpool are currently top of the Premier League but only by two points with City having a game in hand.

Jurgen Klopp’s side also have a tough test vs Tottenham on Sunday meaning, City could well finish this game week in 1st place.

Mitrovic misses out

Heading into the clash with City, Fulham have a few key players missing from their matchday squad. The main name being Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Mitrovic has started in all of Fulham’s previous 31 league games this season. He is also their top scorer with 10 goals.

However, he had to be left out vs City as he has been dealing a small injury and hasn’t recovered from the international break.

Tim Ream and Jean Michael Seri also missed out on Saturday due to the international break.
