Man Utd news: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits to talks with Avram Glazer at Fulham
Since taking over from Jose Mourinho, the club legend has led his former side to 10 wins out of 11 – beating Fulham today 3-0 at Craven Cottage.
Paul Pogba scored twice while Anthony Martial also grabbed a goal and are just two examples of a rejuvenated squad.
There is real belief in the squad now that a top four place can be achieved.
And with Paris St-Germain up next, the shackles are off and the confidence is there.
But he is the bookies favourite, and the latest news will shorten his odds even further.
The Norwegian admitted he met with United supremo Avram Glazer after the match, who was making his first appearance at a game since the defeat to Juventus in October.
And Solskjaer was coy on what they discussed, before admitting he did congratulate the team in the dressing room.
“Well I’ve just spoken to him outside,” Solskjaer said.
“He came into the dressing room. Of course they’re all happy after winning the game. Who I meet and when I meet people is not really up for me to tell!”
Meanwhile, Pogba revealed how Solskjaer has brightened up life at Manchester.
He said: ”I think Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] is just being himself. He isn’t acting and he can give joy to everyone and confidence to everyone.
“There’s still a long way to go and we have a lot of big games coming up.
“Next is Paris St-Germain and then we have to keep trying to get three points in the league.”
