Twitter reacts to Andre Schurrle’s stunning strike vs Burnley
Burnley vs Fulham
Fulham travelled to Burnley on Saturday as they looked to pick up three key points.
Fulham started the day in 19th place on 14 points and could not climb out of the relegation zone, even if they won.
Fulham’s biggest issue since winning promotion has been keeping out goals.
In 21 league games this campaign, Fulham have let in a staggering 47 goals, the worst record in the league.
Granted, Fulham have kept two clean sheets since Claudio Ranieri took over as Fulham boss.
However, those two clean sheets came against the two lowest scoring sides in the league, Newcastle and Huddersfield.
Schurrle’s stunning strike
Despite their poor start to the season, Burnley had won their last two league games vs West Ham and Huddersfield.
The Clarets had also won their previous game 1-0 vs Barnsley in the FA Cup 3rd round.
However, it would be Fulham who would strike first on Saturday.
Denis Odoi would play the ball over the top to Andre Schurrle who controlled it well with his first touch before smashing home with his second.

Despite Schurrle’s early goal, Fulham would go 2-1 down thanks to two own goals.
And they managed it in the space of 3 minutes… https://t.co/mdC8c94dZ8
