‘Now this is a big game’ Pundit reveals his tip as West Brom welcome Norwich

West Bromwich Albion will be striving to pile the pressure on the Championship top two on Saturday afternoon.

Albion, in fourth position in the table, take on second-placed Norwich City at The Hawthorns.

The Baggies are three points behind the Canaries but have superior goal difference so would leapfrog the visitors with a victory.

Both teams have a defeat and draw from their last two league matches.

Albion drew with Sheffield Wednesday and lost at Blackburn Rovers, while Norwich lost to Derby County and drew with Brentford.

Darren Moore’s men progressed to the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 1-0 win over Wigan Athletic last weekend, but Daniel Farke’s side suffered a shock exit against Portsmouth of League One.

The Championship match between Albion and Norwich at Carrow Road back in August ended in a 4-3 victory for the Baggies.

Sky Sports pundit David Prutton is expecting a similar volume of goals when the two top scoring sides in the league meet again here.

“Now this is a big game. West Brom have been trying to reel in the top two for a while, and this is a big opportunity for them to do just that,” Prutton told Sky Sports.

“Norwich have failed to win their last three games, which is their worst run since their first three games of the season.

“There is every chance it will be four by Saturday evening.”

Prediction: West Brom 3 Norwich 2
