Manchester City vs Burton
Manchester City hosted Burton on Wednesday evening in the first leg of their League Cup semi-final.
City are the current holders of the League Cup after beating Arsenal 3-0 in the final last year.
To reach this season’s semi-final Man City beat Oxford 3-0 in the third round, Fulham 2-0 in the round of 16 and Leicester City on penalties in the quarter-final.
As for Burton, they have beaten Shrewsbury 1-0 in the first round, Aston Villa 1-0 in the second round, Premier League side Burnley 2-1 in the 3rd round, Nottingham Forest 3-2 in the round of 16 and Middlesbrough 1-0 in the quarter-final.
Prior to City facing Burton, the big talking point was why Sergio Aguero was not in the matchday squad.

Sergio Aguero update ahead of Wolves
It has since been revealed that the Argentine has been ill with the flu for the last few days.
As a result, Aguero was unable to train, hence why he missed out vs Burton.
Luckily for City fans, Aguero is expected to start training on Thursday and should be fit for Man City’s game vs Wolves.
